Privacy Policy

Summary

Radishy is published by Byte Flicker Pty Ltd (ABN 68 625 784 287), an Australian private company registered in New South Wales, Australia. Radishy does not collect, transmit or sell personal data. The gardens, plants, photos, garden events and harvest records you create stay on your device. Radishy can optionally sync your data to your own private iCloud account using Apple CloudKit. We never have access to that data.

Data We Process

Radishy processes only data you create within the app — gardens, plants, photos, garden events and harvest records. All such data is stored on your device using Apple's SwiftData / SQLite storage and is never transmitted to Byte Flicker Pty Ltd servers.

Device Permissions

Radishy requests the following permissions only when the corresponding feature is used:

• Location — used once during onboarding to detect your AU/NZ climate zone (Tropical, Subtropical, Temperate or Cool) and frost dates. Coordinates are processed on-device and never sent to our servers.
• Camera — used to take photos of your garden and plants for the in-app journal.
• Photo Library — used to import existing garden photos into the journal.
• Microphone — used to record short voice notes against garden events when your hands are busy in the garden. Audio is stored on-device only.
• Notifications — used to remind you about watering windows, sowing dates and harvest readiness. All scheduling happens on-device.

iCloud Sync

Radishy can sync your data across your devices using Apple iCloud (CloudKit). When iCloud sync is enabled, your data is stored in your private iCloud database, encrypted by Apple. Byte Flicker Pty Ltd has no access to that data and cannot read it. Disable sync at any time in Settings → your Apple ID → iCloud → Radishy.

Analytics, Advertising & Third-Party SDKs

• Third-party analytics: None. We do not embed analytics SDKs in the app.
• Third-party advertising / tracking: None. We do not show ads, embed ad SDKs or use the App Tracking Transparency framework.

In-App Purchases

Radishy offers in-app subscriptions and / or one-time purchases through Apple's StoreKit. Payment, billing, refund and renewal are all handled by Apple. Byte Flicker Pty Ltd receives an anonymous transaction receipt to validate your entitlement on-device. We never see your payment method or Apple ID.

Children's Privacy

Radishy is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your Rights

Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020, you have the right to access, correct or request deletion of any personal information we hold about you. Because Radishy stores data on your own device, you can already see and delete everything from within the app at any time.
